Dear All
I want to tell you about our next youth co. zonal meting in 2007. It will happen in the beautiful place , we all love , in BUCELAS!!!
The date will be , 16th - 19th March, and the meeting on the 17th and 18th .
Every one involve with youth and art, is welcome I will give you more details later , but take the date and if possible book your plane to Lisboa as soon as possible!!!!!!!! I hope you will bring every thing you know, so we can enjoy ,dancing , theatre, craft, and also testing and the most important will be to do the Latihan together with Allmighty God.

SUBUD Indonesia XXIII National Congress 2007

We warmly invite you to Subud Indonesia XXIII National Congress, February 1-4, 2007 in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia.
Surabaya is a historical city for Indonesia; they named it "Kota Pahlawan" which means the city of heroes. The venue will take place in Sahid Surabaya Hotel and World Trade Center (WTC) Convention Hall Surabaya. These are the most strategic venues in the city for they are surrounded by shopping centers, cafe/restaurant and site seeing place. This will be a special moment as we will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Subud Indonesia on February 1, 1947 in Jogjakarta. From that moment, the development of Subud began spread in Indonesia and around the World by YM.Bapak Muhammad Subud Sumohadiwidjojo.
Ibu Siti Rahayu Wiryohudoyo is planned to give Testing and Talk to members at WTC Convention Hall, Surabaya. Also there will be Helpers Gathering, Youth activities and Cultural performances.

"The Goddess Dances", Melinda's second radio show on SUBUD RADIO, is this Saturday, November 25 at 10 am PST! (6pm GMT). Features two interviews - with a non-Subud local-to-Seattle, parapalegic artist and a Subud musician (Goeffrey Armes in NY)- both of whom are following inner guidance in their work. … Of course also there’s some goooood music from Subud musicians!

O the Joy of Volunteering....

Hi there everyone, it is Rhyana Blakeley here, Co SYAI coordinator. Basically I am asking for your help and letting you know about a project that we are working on with Susila Dharma International. Basically for those who do not knew about Susila Dharma it is the charitable “wing” of subud, and Subuds most established and public area of Subuds work. Helping to support and in some cases helping the setting up of many charitable projects. In fact I would be very surprised if you had not heard of it. Now if you are interested in more information about how SDI works, or about any of the amazing projects that it supports please find out more by looking at: www.susiladharma.org
A side of SD that is not so well known is that in the past people have often volunteered for various projects. This has usually been done by word of mouth, someone hearing of a project and contacting the project directly and making arraignments, and has often been done by younger members, mostly as far as I knew subud members. Recently a young member who had just volunteered for a SD project contacts both me and Hamilton (co SYAI coordinator) and Sharifin Gardiner (the Chair of SDI). She told us about her experience volunteering and the problems that she had experienced. This started of the idea that has become Volunteers without tears. We have created a group of people to help to build a programme to support Volunteers, especially younger volunteers. The idea is to look at how to train, inform and protect anyone going to volunteer. To make sure that the volunteers are actually of use, and not a burden to a project, etc. This is still in the early stages, but to help us Hester and Raphael Bate have created a short form. This form is mainly for people who have, or are volunteering for a SD project. Please take five mins to fill it in as it will be very helpful to us and hopefully to future volunteers. And if you knew of anyone who has or is please forward it to them. Also those who have volunteered outside of subud and would like to make a contribution please feel free to fill in the form but make it clear that it was not for a SD project. If you have an interest in volunteering and have any suggestions of how we could make information more accessible, or what information should be available please fill in the back of the form (a blank space) or send an email to the below address. Or if you have any suggestions please do the same.
I have to point out, that at this point in time, this programme is not up and running we are trying to create it. So you have the opportunity to have an active role in that creation. But if you want to volunteer at this time we may not be able answer all of your questions or assist you at this time. We will keep you informed of this exciting process, and thank you for your help.
