All Vision Jamboree at La Source, France, 3rd-10th July
Posted by SubudLife
Saturday, June 10, 2006
From Maya Bernardes:

For technical reasons, the YES QUEST in its original format has been cancelled at La Source in July. As a number of people had already registered, we are committed to creating something else and have decided to replace it what we are calling a VISION JAMBOREE. This way we hope to satisfy those already registered for the Quest, but also others who might choose to come, by creating an opportunity for us to share in a journey where we continue to search for our true direction in life. We trust that it will be fun and useful for everyone.

The VISION JAMBOREE will run from the 3rd to the 10th of July, though people can arrive earlier or leave later. Various European facilitators have agreed to participate, so there will be creative workshops and group sessions aimed to help participants gain insight into the next step or the direction that their lives can take, as well as to help us see how we can bring our common experience into our daily activities. We shall also organize outbound treks in the mountains and sessions in the sweat lodge that was built by Halim and a group of youth during the New Years Music Jamboree. Tending the organic garden and creative cooking together, will also be part of the program, as well of course as latihan and testing.

The price for the Vision Jamboree is fixed at 35 euros per person per day for full board, but we would prefer that participants stay for at least the full 8 days. Those who can give a little extra donation are welcome to do so and this way, along with the established La Source Support Fund, and the generous participation of the facilitators, we hope to be able to subsidize in part, those who could have difficulties to come otherwise.

We only have one month to promote this event, so we ask everyone's help in spreading the word so that we can make the VISION JAMBOREE a success.

Subud Youth YES Quest - Time Running out to register
Posted by HamiltonManley
Monday, May 22, 2006
A message from Peter Jenkins:

Hi Eveyone,

There are around 20 potential participants for this Quest, but to date only a few have actually confirmed their attendance.

YES Quest is for 17 to 30ish ages, though previous Quests have had a mature 16 year old or two, which worked fine.

The dates: Facilitators in training will arrive on July 22nd, with the program ending on Aug 4th. Participants will arrive July 23, program ending on Aug 3rd. The time has now come to set a deadline for decisions, and that deadline will be Saturday May 27th. Deposit will need to be paid direct to Seven Circles within the following seven days. So, if you intend coming, we absolutely need to know by that date. (Also please let us know if you can't come)

Please bear in mind that as a result of a grant from MSF (and earmarked assistance from Subud California - Lusijah), the cost has been reduced by US$600 from $1506 to $906.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

With best regards, Peter

Hello All

Wow, what a great time for wings activity and especially to  create some enthusiasm and excitement about Subud youth activities in the world. Here is an update of Rhyana and my recent meeting with our fellow Wing Coordinators on the World Subud Council. This was a first opportunity to get to know one another properly after World Congress in Innsbruck, and to share ideas and visions for potential joint wings projects and initiatives.

All 4th May Electoral Shenanigans

What do you get when you take a young Subudian Muslim, with neo-Cromwellian ideological leanings, mix in a third major party, and then simmer with a helping of the 2006 British Local Council Elections?
