Post subject: Averting Global Calamity

Hello.
Recently after an especially strong latihan where I was the only person to show up, I was moved to put a few questions to the One who brings the latihan. One question was "What is needed from people to alter to flow of events of outer life on Earth?" I received such a strong impression of beings who were extremely tall and made of fire and angular light...and that that was what would be needed of humans to divert the general course of outer life for the bettter. Without sounding like Chicken Little, does anyone else have a sense that the sky is falling and is looking for a way to try to at least ameliorate the negative effects of what some would call "Judgement Day"? This also brings a question of what "Judgement Day" might entail...be it a simple culling of human population levels or perhaps a more involved cessation of worldy processes. What do you think/feel?

Here is a list of possible avenues that one can follow. Certainly if you are in the US.
(1) Write to your Congresswomen/man and ask that he/she present the case for an environmental cause in their district. One that obviously has serious spinoffs for residents and her/his reelection prospects.
(2) Write to your local, state and then the National Education Board with a five point plan on an alternative National curriculum for Social and Psychological Education.
(3) Start your own Cable Company and begin with a local Network Channel. Present the case for how rubbish the American Materialist Dream is, and the International Criminality of the Washington DC Consensus.
(4) Start a local Grocers that grows to at least the size of Walmart.
(5) Give X sum of money every month in a targeted way to a Non-Western Charity or Development Agency operating in a specific conflict area of the world. Get to the heart of the problem.
(6) Start your own political party with branches at every level from Local to International. You should have UN recognition in under 10 years and before you know it be able to change the UN charter and get UN assembly voting power. Use this to change the UN system. Create a new world consensus that no one power can feel its not in their interest to support.
(7) Line up every western leader since 1500, and agree on where they went wrong.
If all the above fails you have two options. Build yourself a military to rival the US. Then we'll have another cold war and less room for US criminality. The alternative is to carry on with your Latihan twice a week, and wait for God to present you with further instruction. At least manage the second option throughout. |

Wow! Interesting testing!
In my opinion, as one small individual out of billions: I must try to surrender completely in the latihan, try to do every Ramadhan as best I can, try to bring the latihan into my every-day life as much as possible, try to find and do my true work to the best of my ability.
I believe in the power of prayer and world latihans too, you might test about these to see if they are appropriate for you.
I figure that I won't be suited to change even one person if I can't get myself into a decent condition. So I look at myself first when I think about making the world a better place. |
