Post subject: homestay/ temp. housing needed in San Francisco

Hi,
I need temporary housing for 1-3 months in San Francisco, CA starting approximately the third week in September, while I complete my visa application to study/move to France. I do not have a car, so need a place near public transport. I can pay about 300 dollars a month, or trade for skills. I'm a licensed masseuse who has worked at Eliwabeth Arden Salon, and holistic health centers, a watercolorist and former art teacher, and Web producer.
I will have very little with me, as I sold all my wordly goods in June, went to France, and learned I need to return to the US for a long term visa as this is not available in Europe. Whoops!
I have two white eye conures (small green parrots) with friends in Seattle that I am planning to take with me to France and would like to have them with me in S.F.
