But, why did Huberto write in Spanish when he can read and understand English?

i thought i'd stick in two short poems i wrote when i was about 19.
They're depressing, so take em with a pinch of salt:
I look for a path, but all I see:
Is the vein tree,
The scarlet tree
The Single Garden,
One Kingdom:
Sensation.
.......
Notice the moments of happiness, fleeting
The pain of eyes from light at waking;
To meet a face and see the eyes
This is the pain of being alive. |
