Originally the Virtual Latihan Hall (VLH) was conceived by Stewart. His fount of inspiration did not dry up there. In time he came up with the Virtual Subud Office (VSO). The VLH meanwhile, although having a bogey coloured Subud Symbol that caused various hearts to flutter, it was soon to be good old gold. However, now the amalgamation of the VLH and VSO is on the cards, and this will be set up shortly......

This article seeks to prompt peoples thoughts and ideas about its design. Please respond in the SubudLife Design Forum.
Many people regularly visit the VLH or the VSO, and they find no one else there. They then assume within 10 seconds that they are alone. However, if one leaves a face up, this problem can be resolved. By doing this you are there for the next person(s) and you set a precedent others will follow. Everybody has the same problem and if they leave a face up for the time they remain on site (say reading a forum or submitting an article) then we'll have a real meeting.
On this note, soon enough we are going to set up an indication screen or pop up window that will inform all those on site as to whenever a new person enters the VLH.
In the VLH, the text that appears above ones face exists only until you write another line. This was partly the reason for the VSO. People like to see what had been written, say five lines previously. However, on the new VLH, there will be a simple facility to see ones conversation history for that session. This will be erased once you exit.
At the moment Latihan times are 11am, 3pm and 8pm PST (Pacific Standard Time - following the SubudLife clocks location). If people can make that time then we are likely to get a more regular meeting of members.
